The heart of the NEO 5 is the hydrostatically mounted turntable with direct drive, exceptional rigidity, radial and axial runout errors of less than 1 µm, and pitch accuracy of less than ±1 arc second. Another highlight is the option to equip the NEO 5 with a Y-axis without changing the machine dimensions. The X, Z, C and optional Y-axis are equipped with direct drives that provide extremely high feeding accuracy and very high holding torques.
